Villa di Maiano is a stunning villa nestled into the hillside of Florence. Its views are out of this world and your guests feel like they are floating above Florence. The villa is located 2 kilometres from the centre of Florence and is easily reachable by taxi. Although we recommend having all of your wedding outside, I mean you are in Italy, the venue also has some rocking Plan Bs. The inside of the villa was chosen by Hollywood as filming locations as it is so beautiful. The venue was originally a tower and then was turned into a villa by an English gentleman.
The present owners have had the villa in their family since the late 1800s. Not only are they amazing people, but they have painstakingly kept the villa in pristine condition. You really feel like royalty at this place. This is probably why Queen Victoria chose to visit it multiple times in her lifetime. Where it be the stunning panoramic terrace, the rustic lemon house, or the grand ballroom— you really cannot go wrong here. This venue can hold more than 150 guests outside and around 100-120 guests inside. It is also one of Tuscan Wedding’s favourite venues. Read why here
