The Borgo or hamlet, is mentioned in Dante’s writings over 500 years ago. The current family purchased the house in the 1700s and have painstakingly kept it in great shape. Any bride or groom will feel like royalty sleeping in Queen Margherita’s bed, yes that’s right— the lady behind Margherita pizza. The tuscan wedding venue can sleep 36 people in classic rooms in the main villa and more rustic rooms in the refurbished farm house located next-door the villa. Don’t fret if it rains as the villa has a large grain room that can fit all of your 150 guests for a site down dinner with room left over for dancing and fun. The owners require a 3 night minimum stay so it is great if you want to make a long weekend of it. The Borgo’s pool overlooks the properties vineyard where they produce their own wine label.
